We ran an event at Deloitte’s London HQ leading to a 30% improvement in attendee outcomes
Mentyoo teamed up with Deloitte’s Muslim Network to host an event to help young people break into financial services
We brought together 60 younger attendees with a panel of professionals and experts, with the aim of covering how to network and showing how to break into professional services.
The event had insightful discussion where the panel of experienced industry leaders shared their personal journeys, challenges, and triumphs. They provided inspiration and practical advice for navigating a career in financial or professional services. There was also a Q&A session where the challenges faced by young people were discussed.
Mentyoo was responsible for:
- sourcing speakers (joint responsibility with organisers);
- preparing and presenting the agenda;
- collecting attendee data for monitoring and evaluation purposes;
- reporting on event social impact;
- matching attendees with relevant mentors from the Mentyoo platform.
We found a clear and significant improvements in our attendee outcomes:
30%
conversion rate to mentees
33%
boost in networking confidence
8x
social ROI
We’ve found that it can just take a single meeting, or single conversation, to change someone’s perspective, solve a problem or get some advice about a tricky situation. Evenings like this can provide young people with that support and Menyoo are committed to facilitating events like this, to foster the young talent. The collaboration with Deloitte's Muslim Network delivered an informative and engaging experience but also paved the way for future initiatives to support and inspire the next generation of professionals.
